Business Description:

Sundance is a company focused on the development of a global iron ore business based on the development of the Mbalam-Nabeba Iron Ore Project, located in the heart of an emerging iron ore province, in Cameroon and the Republic of Congo in Central Africa.

Mbalam-Nabeba Project has total High Grade Hematite Resources of 805.7 Mt and a wider Itabirite Hematite Resource of 5.6 Bt. The High Grade Mineral Reserves currently total 517 Mt at 62.2% Fe for Stage One of the Project. The Ore Reserve contains low impurities of 4.46% Silica, 2.80% Alumina and 0.09% Phosphorus.

This confirms production at a rate of 40 million tonnes per year for a minimum 12 years for Stage 1 and a rate of 35 million tonnes per year for Stage 2.

Sundance’s goal is to leverage its first mover advantage and become a major global supplier of iron ore within the next four years.
Established:

The Company originally listed as St Francis Mining Ltd in 1993 (ASX Code: SFM), and changed its name to St Francis Group Ltd in 2000 (ASX Code: SFG).

It was renamed Sundance Resources Limited in 2003 and commenced trading under the ASX Code SDL.
