EXPLORATION TARGETS
Exploration in this remote and heavily-forested terrain brings many
challenges. However the site team now have nearly eight years of
valuable experience working in this terrain and as such exploration
mapping and sampling campaigns are conducted year round from
the well-established base camps at both Mbarga and Nabeba.
The High Grade Hematite Exploration Target of 90-150 Million
Tonnes is derived from evaluation of six deposits and prospects
within the Project’s current tenement holdings.
Exploration Targets for the two types of Iron Ore within the Project are currently estimated as:
• High Grade Hematite “DSO” Target: 90 – 150 Million tonnes grading 55-65% Fe
• Itabirite Target: 9.2 - 13.2 Billion tonnes grading 30-40% Fe
